About the Center

The Special Events Center is a 40 million dollar facility that features an Arena and a Conference Center, two distinct but connected components.

Arena

Arena Seating:

• Approximately 7,000 for Graduations
• 7,500 for concerts
• 7,200 for basketball and volleyball

Other Arena Uses:

• Gymnastics tournaments and exhibitions
• Theatrical productions
• Musical performances

Conference Center

18,000 square feet of convention, training and meeting space including:

• Ballroom that accommodates up to 400 guests for seated banquets
• Tiered lecture hall with 140 seats
• Two meeting rooms

The facility is designed by one of the nation’s leading architectural firms, HKS, Inc. The firm has been responsible for the design of many of the Metroplex’s most visible sports and entertainment venues including American Airlines Center , The Ballpark at Arlington, and Bass Performing Arts Center.
